World Architectural Congress Dubai

GROHE was a proud sponsor of the World Architectural Congress held at Dubai last year as part of Cityscape Dubai. It was held from October 6th - 9th 2008, and was major highlight in a region booming with construction and development.
Cityscape Dubai is the world's biggest business-to-business real estate investment and development event. Last year it broke all visitor records with more than 70,000 visitors over four days.

Despite the facht that many regions are facing uncertain futures, visitors from more than 150 countries flocked in record numbers to Cityscape Dubai to take the pulse of the changing regional real estate market. By the second day, records had already fallen with over 40,000 visitors - more than the total for the three days of the previous year's event. In addition, by the end of the third day visitor numbers had surpassed 56,000.

The World Architecture Congress, which was headline sponsored by GROHE and Arup, was designed for architecture and urban planning professionals. The congress was visited by about 200 delegates and chaired by former Mayour of London Ken Livingstone.

Alongside to the show several parallel conferences took place: Real Estate Leadership Strategy Summit, International Real Estate Investment and Development Conference, World Architectural Congress and CityScape Hotel and Tourism Investment and Development Congress. Cityscape Dubai also hosts the Cityscape Architectural Awards.

Cityscape events are now held in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, New York, Mumbai, Moscow, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia with the next event in Sao Paul, Brazil.
